The night before school ended we took the kids on a hike. It was really a lot of fun to do now that we have kids that are big enough to walk that far by themselves. It was quite an easy hike, but still took some effort.
The skies were pretty dark the whole time and we know that it could rain on us at any minute, but it was warm enough that we didn't worry too much about it.
On the way back down the trail, it did start to rain, but it never got too bad, and our jackets were enough to keep us warm and dry.
The clouds made gorgeous views of the valley and fabulous pictures.
